Service Provider Management Announces ServiceTrade fmPilot2 Integration
FacilitySource recently partnered with ServiceTrade to give service providers a better way to manage work orders. For those of you not familiar with ServiceTrade, they provide a field service management and customer service application that manages work orders and eliminates duplicate data entry. ServiceTrade is the first field service management application to integrate with fmPilot, and a good option for service providers who are evaluating service management software.
So, how does it work? When a work order is created and assigned in fmPilot, a corresponding, unscheduled job is created in ServiceTrade with matching details. When a job is scheduled in ServiceTrade, the fmPilot status is automatically changed to “In Progress” and the “schedule” date and time is updated. When the first appointment is completed and a second appointment is scheduled in ServiceTrade, the fmPilot work order status is changed to “Follow Up.” When the job is marked as completed in ServiceTrade, the fmPilot work order status is changed to “Pending Vendor Invoice.” Over time, we will expand the integration of these systems to cover invoicing and IVR functionality as the fmPilot API expands.
The FacilitySource service provider, Team 360 Services, is a long-time ServiceTrade customer. In this video, Michael Crafton and Jill Elie describe how ServiceTrade helped them solve their operational problems so they’re now free to work on expanding their business and giving their customers an amazing experience.
